About the Event
The Palatka Art Adventure is an immersive cultural experience that spans from Railway to River through Palatka’s historic downtown district, transforming the area into a dynamic canvas of creativity. This self-guided journey invites both visitors and residents to explore the town, which will be transformed with as many as 50 temporary 4’x8’ mini-murals, micro-guerilla art installations, and interactive art stations. Participants will be encouraged to engage with art in innovative and interactive ways, making the experience both educational and inspiring.
In addition to highlighting Palatka’s historic mural collection, the event will feature art-themed storefront displays that bring the community together in celebration of the arts. In honor of National Arts Day (which coincides with Pablo Picasso’s birthday), the River Center will offer hands-on art activities for children, fostering creativity and artistic expression among the younger generation.
