Nancy Brenner

Like many artists, I dabbled in painting throughout my years raising a family and through the 20 plus years as a home builder creating dreams for other families. 

 

In 2016 I was introduced to Kindness Rocks and initially created both St Augustine Rocks and Palatka Rocks as an activity to share with my grandchildren. Over the next five years I personally painted, hid and gifted over 3000 kindness rocks. While growing in my painting skills during this time, I also taught the enjoyment of rock painting to a number of local groups including Scout Troops, the Palatka Women’s Club, public school classes, churches and nursing homes. My rock painting and involvement with others inspired me to branch out to painting what I love today on canvas. 

 

Although I enjoy painting many subjects, I am particularly drawn to serene landscapes and nature in all forms. I especially enjoy painting my “inside/outside” series that allows me to incorporate a bit of inside still life while capturing a moment in time and nature outside. I love color and continue to explore ways to bring the varied colors of landscapes and wildlife to my canvas.
